Pinterest Ads Setup Guide
Follow our setup guide to connect Pinterest Ads to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Pinterest Ads to Fivetran, you need:
- A Pinterest Ads account.
- An Advertiser under that account.
- The logged-in user must have the Admin or Owner account role to access Pins and Boards of other linked accounts, including secret Pins and Boards.
Setup instructions
In the connector setup form, enter your chosen Destination schema name.
Click Authorize. Log into your Pinterest account and follow the on-page instructions to grant Fivetran access to your Pinterest Ads data.
Select the sync mode:
- Choose Sync All Advertisers to sync all advertisers you have access to.
- Choose Sync Specific Advertisers to sync specific advertisers only. Select the advertisers you'd like to sync.
(Optional) Select values for Click Attribution Window, Engagement Attribution Window, and View Attribution Window. The following attribution window combinations are valid:

AD_EVENT
: The date that the user interacted with the ad.CONVERSION_EVENT
: The date that the user completed a conversion event.
Select the Report Granularity:
- Choose Report daily granularity to sync reports with daily granularity (default option).
- Choose Report hourly granularity to sync reports with hourly granularity.
In the Historical Sync Time Frame drop-down, select how many months' worth of reporting data you'd like to include in your initial sync.
Click Save and Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Pinterest Ads data.
