Navan Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect Navan to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect your Navan account to Fivetran, you need a Navan account with Administrator permissions.
Setup instructions
Create API credentials
Log in to your Navan account.
Click your username in the top left corner. In the drop-down, select Admin.
Go to the Travel admin tab.
Go to Settings > Integrations.
In the Navan API Credentials section, select Create New.
In the Description field, enter the name for your API credential.
(Optional) Enter the Allowed IP Addresses or Subnet Mask.
Click Create.
Make a note of the Client ID and Client Secret. You will need them to configure Fivetran.
Find region
Find your region from the Navan URL. For example, if your URL is https://api.navan.com
, then your region is US. If your URL is https://app-fra.navan.com
, then your region is Europe. Make a note of the region. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Enter the Client ID and Client Secret you created in Step 1.
In the Region drop-down, select the region you found in Step 2.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Navan data.
