Eventsforce Setup Guide Lite

Follow our setup guide to connect Eventsforce to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect Eventsforce to Fivetran, you need:

an Eventsforce account
an activated API for your account
a role assigned to the API user

NOTE: If a user does not exist, add a new user before assiging a role. For more information, see Eventsforce documentation.

Setup instructions

Find account name

Find your account name in your admin portal URL and make a note of it. For example, if your URL is www.eventsforce.net/XYZ/backend/login.html, then your account name is XYZ.

Generate API key

Log in to your Eventsforce account.
Click Settings > Security > Users.
Select the user and click Edit.
In the API key field, click Generate.
Make a note of the API key. You will need it to configure Fivetran.

Finish Fivetran configuration

In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Enter the Account name you found in Step 1.
Enter the API key you found in Step 2.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Eventsforce data.
