Campfire Setup Guide Lite Private Preview
Follow our setup guide to connect Campfire to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Campfire to Fivetran, you need a Campfire account account.
Setup instructions
API Key
Login to Campfire account.
Navigate to Settings > API Keys under the API Tokens.
Click Create User button to add a new user.
Provide the name, email, and role for the API user. The role determines which APIs and actions are accessible. Available roles:
- admin: Access to all APIs
- clerk: Can view all APIs and post draft entries
- view only: Can call only GET APIs
Once the user is created, click Create API Key under that user’s profile. Copy the key and store it somewhere safe. You can only see the key once.
Make a note of the API key, as it will only be visible once. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
In the connection setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Enter the API token you created.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected for the connection. To assign a different agent, click Replace agent, select the agent you want to use, and click Use Agent.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Campfire data.
