Adobe Experience Platform Setup Guide Lite Private Preview
Follow our setup guide to connect Adobe Experience Platform to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Adobe Experience Platform to Fivetran, you need an Adobe Experience Platform account with Admin permission and a working host.
Please enable the permission if you see "User region is missing" error message. If you encounter any issues while enabling the permission, contact the Adobe Experience Platform support team for assistance.
Setup instructions
Find IMS
Find your IMS region in your Adobe Experience Platform URL and make a note of it. For example, if url is like ims-na1.adobelogin.com then your IMS is ims-na1.
If you're unable to retrieve it, please reach out to the source team.
Find Sandbox name
Navigate to the left in Sandboxes under ADMINISTRATION section, there you can get name. The same name you need to enter in Sandbox name
Find Environment
- Your Adobe admin or implementation team can help identify the correct environment name.
- It’s typically available in the Adobe Developer Console or within your platform’s API credentials section.
For example, if the API URL is: https://mycompanyprod.adobe.io/data/foundation/access-control/administration/roles then your Environment would be: mycompanyprod.
Create OAuth application and Get the credentials
- Log in to your Adobe Experience Platform account.
- Create a New Project.
- Add APIs to the Project. Select Adobe Experience Platform APIs.
- Make a note of API key, Client Secret and Organization ID.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connection setup form, enter your chosen Destination schema name.
- Select the IMS you found in Step 1.
- Select the Sandbox name you found in Step 2.
- Enter the Environment you found in Step 3.
- Enter your Adobe Experience Platform Client ID, Client Secret and Organization ID that you found in Step 4.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected for the connection. To assign a different agent, click Replace agent, select the agent you want to use, and click Use Agent.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Adobe Experience Platform data.
