Totango Setup Guide Lite Private Preview

Follow our setup guide to connect Totango to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect Totango to Fivetran, you need a Totango account with API access.

Find the region your account is hosted in your Totango URL and make a note of it. Your subdomain represents the account host region.

If your URL is https://api.totango.com/api/v3/touchpoint-types/ and your subdomain is api, then your account is hosted in the US.
If your URL is https://api-eu1.totango.com/api/v3/touchpoint-types/ and your subdomain is api-eu1, then your account is hosted in Europe.

Log in to your Totango account.
Click your profile icon and select Edit Profile.
Go to the INTEGRATIONS tab and click CREATE TOKEN.
Enter your Token Name.
In the Expiration Time drop-down menu, select No Expiration.
Click GENERATE TOKEN.
Make a note of the Personal access token. You will need it to configure Fivetran.

In the connector setup form, enter your chosen Destination schema name.
In the Region drop-down menu, select the region you found.
Enter the Personal access token you generated.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Totango data.
