Why Doesn't the Connector Capture Deletes After Being Paused for 15 Days?
Question
Why doesn't the connector capture deletes after being paused for 15 days?
Environment
Connector: Salesforce
Answer
Salesforce only holds soft-deleted records in their recycle bin for 15 days. Therefore, if you pause your connector for more than 15 days, we recommend re-syncing each affected table before unpausing the connector to avoid data integrity issues. A full re-sync allows us to infer deleted records by comparing those available before the pause with those now unavailable.
We display a warning icon next to each affected table on your connector page's Schema tab. To re-sync each affected table, hover over the table's row, then click Resync.
WARNING: Re-syncing each table contributes to MAR. For more information, see our Usage-Based Pricig re-sync limitations documentation.
