Can I update the bucket ID associated with my connector?

Answer

Yes, you can update the bucket ID associated with your connector. However, if you do so, we will sync all the new files in the new bucket to your destination and overwrite the data for files with the same name as those in the new bucket. As a result, to ensure data integrity, we strongly recommend creating a new connector instead.

To update the bucket ID associated with an existing connector, do the following:

1. In Fivetran, go to your Google Play connector page.
2. Select the Setup tab.
3. Click Edit connection.
4. Enter the new bucket ID in the Bucket field.
5. Click Save & Test.
