Why Was Less Data Synced Than the Historical Sync Time Frame I Set?
Question
While setting up my connection, I set a Historical Sync Time Frame. However, after successful historical syncs, the data for some reports is incomplete.
Why doesn't the amount of data synced reflect the time frame I set?
Environment
Connector: Google Campaign Manager 360
Answer
When you trigger a historical sync, we request data for the full time frame you set. However, Google Campaign Manager 360 enforces retention limits for some reports. If you set a historical sync time frame extending beyond these limits, your syncs may return less data than expected. For more information, see the Google documentation on report data availability.
To check or adjust your connection's historical sync time frame in Fivetran:
- Go to your Google Campaign Manager 360 connection details page.
- Select the Setup tab.
- Click Edit connection details.
- Open the Historical Sync Time Frame drop-down menu and set a new value.
- Click Save & Test.
