How can I include or exclude specific records from my custom report?

Answer

To include or exclude records from your custom report, do the following:

1. Go to your Google Analytics 4 connector dashboard.
2. Go to the Setup tab and click Edit connection details.
3. Find the report you want to edit and click Edit.
4. Click Next.
5. Under Filters (optional), click + Add filter.
6. From the Filter type drop-down menu, choose Include records where to include records based on filter or Exclude records where to exclude records.
7. In the Dimension field, select the dimension to filter on.
8. In the Operator field, choose the matching condition, Equals or Contains.
9. In the Value field, enter the desired value for the dimension.
   • If you selected Equals as a matching condition, you can specify multiple values by clicking + Add.
10. (Optional) To add additional filters, repeat steps 5 - 9 for each added filter.
11. Click Save.
