Forj Community Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect Forj Community to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Forj Community to Fivetran, you need a Forj Community account with Admin privileges.
Setup instructions
Create API key and secret key
- Log in to your Forj Community account.
- In the top right corner of the page, click the Community Menu icon and then select Community Settings.
- On the navigation menu, click Integrations.
- Click Create new API key and make a note of the API application key and secret key. You will need them to configure Fivetran.
- (Optional) Enter a Description for the API application key and secret key pair.
- Click Save and exit.
Finish Fivetran configuration
In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
In the API key field, enter the API application key you found in Step 1.
Enter the Secret key you found in Step 1.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Forj Community data.
