ChurnZero Setup Guide Lite

Follow our setup guide to connect ChurnZero to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect ChurnZero to Fivetran, you need:

a ChurnZero account with API access
Developer Tools user permission enabled on your user account
All Bulk Read Permissions enabled

TIP: The ChurnZero REST API is an add-on feature that you must enable and configure with the necessary permissions. To enable this feature, contact your ChurnZero Customer Success Manager.

Setup instructions

Find subdomain

Find your account's subdomain in your ChurnZero URL and make a note of it. For example, if your ChurnZero URL is https://fivetran.us1app.churnzero.net/public/v1/Account, then your subdomain is fivetran.us1app.

Create API key

Log in to your ChurnZero account.
Go to Admin > API Keys.
Create an API key.
Make a note of the API key. You will need it to configure Fivetran.

Finish Fivetran configuration

In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Enter the Subdomain you found.
Enter your ChurnZero Username.
Enter the API key you created.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your ChurnZero data.
