Sentry Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect Sentry to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Sentry to Fivetran, you need a Sentry account.
Setup instructions
Find organization ID
- Log in to your Sentry account.
- Go to Settings > ORGANIZATION > General Settings.
- Make a note of the Organization ID. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
You can only use one Organization ID per connection. If you want to sync data from another Organization, we recommend you to configure an additional connection.
Find project ID
- Go to Settings > ORGANIZATION > Projects.
- Click each project whose data you want to sync and make a note of their Project ID. You will need it to configure Fivetran
Find auth token
- Go to Settings > DEVELOPER SETTINGS > Auth Tokens.
- Click Create New Token.
- Click Create Auth Token.
- Enable read permission for
Project
,Organisation
, andIssue & Event
. - Make a note of the Token. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
In the connection setup form, enter your Destination schema name.
Enter the Organization ID you found.
Enter the Project IDs you found as comma-separated values.
You cannot change the project IDs after you set up the connection.
Enter the Auth token you found.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Sentry data.
