Data is missing from the EVENT
table.
Environment
Connector: Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Resolution
We receive a timeout error from Salesforce's Marketing Cloud API if the response for a selected time range is too large. When this occurs, we reduce the time range by a quarter and try again until we reach a time range of one minute. If we still receive a timeout error, the following warning will appear in the connector logs:
The API is giving bad response while fetching SentEvent for the duration between YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SSZ and YYYY-MM-DDTHH:MM:SSZ. Skipping the record.
In addition, the following alert will appear in the Fivetran dashboard:
Skip Records for Erroneous Response
To resolve this issue, re-sync the connector.
