Proofpoint Security Awareness Setup Guide Lite

Follow our setup guide to connect Proofpoint Security Awareness to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect Proofpoint Security Awareness to Fivetran, you need a Proofpoint Security Awareness account with one of the following roles:

SuperAdmin
ReportingAdmin
ReportingApi

Setup instructions

Find token key

Log in to your Proofpoint Security Awareness account.
Find your account's Token Key and make a note of it. You will need it to configure Fivetran.

Find region

Find the region your account is hosted in your Proofpoint Security Awareness URL and make a note of it. Your subdomain represents the account host region.

If your URL is results.us.securityeducation.com, then your region is US
If your URL is results.eu.securityeducation.com, then your region is EU
If your URL is results.ap.securityeducation.com, then your region is AP

Finish Fivetran configuration

In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Enter the Token key you found.
In the Region drop-down menu, select the region you found.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Proofpoint Security Awareness data.
