Proofpoint Security Awareness Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect Proofpoint Security Awareness to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Proofpoint Security Awareness to Fivetran, you need a Proofpoint Security Awareness account with one of the following roles:
- SuperAdmin
- ReportingAdmin
- ReportingApi
Setup instructions
Find token key
Log in to your Proofpoint Security Awareness account.
Find your account's Token Key and make a note of it. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Find region
Find the region your account is hosted in your Proofpoint Security Awareness URL and make a note of it. Your subdomain represents the account host region.
- If your URL is
results.us.securityeducation.com
, then your region isUS
- If your URL is
results.eu.securityeducation.com
, then your region isEU
- If your URL is
results.ap.securityeducation.com
, then your region isAP
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
- Enter the Token key you found.
- In the Region drop-down menu, select the region you found.
- (Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Proofpoint Security Awareness data.
