Nice Setup Guide Lite

Follow our setup guide to connect Nice to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect Nice to Fivetran, you need access to an active Nice account and a Nice developer account.

Setup instructions

Find base URL

Find your base URL from your Nice URL. For example, if the URL is https://cxone.niceincontact.com, then the base URL is cxone.niceincontact.com.

Find client ID and client secret

1. Log in to your Nice account.
2. Go to the Developer account.
3. Click Registering Applications.
4. Click CXone Application Registration Microsoft form and complete the form.
5. Click Submit.
6. Once the request is complete, you will receive a response that includes your application registration information. Application secrets will be sent securely.
7. Make a note of Client ID and Client secret fields. You will need them to configure Fivetran.

Find access key ID and access key secret

1. Add a new role with custom permissions required for the service.
2. Click the app selector and select Admin. Go to Security > Roles and Permissions.
3. Click New Role.Click Save & Activate.
4. Create a new employee profile for your service.
5. Click Employees.Click New Employee.
6. Click the Access Keys tab.
7. Click Generate New Access Key.
8. Make a note of Access Key ID and Secret Access Key fields. You will need it to configure Fivetran.

NOTE: In case you face any difficulty while creating an APP or you are unable to find the Client ID and Client secret, reach out to DevOneSupport@nice.com or contact Nice.

Finish Fivetran configuration

1. In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
2. Enter the Base URL you found
3. Enter the Client ID and Client Secret you found.
4. Enter the Access Key ID and AccessKey Secret you found.
5. (Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
6. Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your data from your Nice account.
