Warning: Increase the Connector Update Frequency

Question

While trying to set up a HubSpot connector, I got the following warning:

There are a lot of updates for Company endpoint(s) hence syncing all objects to get the latest data. You can prevent this by increasing the connector update frequency.

What does this warning mean? What should I do?

This warning is a result of a HubSpot API limitation.

According to the HubSpot's documentation for the Company endpoint, connectors can only get the first 10,000 of the most recent updates.

When the number of updates exceeds the limits specified by HubSpot's API for the applicable endpoint, Fivetran completes a re-sync to make sure it's not losing any data.

If you increase re-sync frequency, the connector will encounter fewer updates.
