Warning: Unable To Fetch the Report. Check Columns, Dimensions, and Dimension Attributes

Issue

While setting up a connector, the following warning appears:

Unable to fetch the report. Check Columns, Dimensions, and Dimension Attributes for compatibility with the report type being fetched. All parameters were correct but we could not get report data. Probably the report was too big.

Environment

Connector: Google Ads

Resolution

You don't need to take any action. You can continue setting up your connector.

Cause

When we attempt to create the connection, we call the Google Ads API to check the validity of the reports you have configured. The above error appears if we don't receive a response before a timeout expires. We repeat the same checks during subsequent syncs until we receive the applicable report data. If subsequent syncs fail, you will receive a notification to reconnect the connection.
