ExpenseIn Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect ExpenseIn to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect ExpenseIn to Fivetran, you need an ExpenseIn account.
Create API key
- Log in to your ExpenseIn account.
- Go to Admin > Integration.
- Go to the ExpenseIn API tab.
- Click New API Key.
- Select the API key permissions.
TIP: We recommend you to select all the permissions to avoid HTTP 401 Unauthorized errors.
- Click Add.
- Make a note of the API Key. You will need it to configure the Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
- Enter the API key you created.
- (Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your data from your ExpenseIn account.
