Dialpad Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect Dialpad to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Dialpad to Fivetran, you need a Dialpad account with API access.
Setup instructions
Find environment
Your Dialpad account determines your environment. If you have:
- a test account, then your environment is
Sandbox
- a live account, then your environment is
Production
Register OAuth app
Open the OAuth App Request Form.
In the Developer Name field, enter
Fivetran
.In the Developer Email field, enter
developers@fivetran.com
.In the Scopes field, select all the available options.
In the Redirect URI field, enter
https://fivetran.com/integrations/dialpad/oauth2/return
.Specify appropriate values for the rest of the fields and then click Submit. Once you submit the form Dialpad will provide you with a client ID and client secret.
Make a note of the client ID and client secret that Dialpad provides. You will need them to configure Fivetran.
NOTE: If you are unable to find the credentials, contact Dialpad support team.
Finish Fivetran configuration
In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Select the Environment you found.
Enter the Client ID and Client secret you found.
Click Authorize to allow Fivetran to access your Dialpad account using OAuth. You will be redirected to your Dialpad account to authorize Fivetran's access.
Log in to your Dialpad account. Once you have finished, you will be redirected back to Fivetran.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Dialpad data.
