Deputy Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect Deputy to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Deputy to Fivetran, you need a Deputy account.
Setup instructions
Find subdomain
Find your subdomain in your Deputy URL and make a note of it. For example, if your Deputy URL is https://fivetran.as.deputy.com/
, then your subdomain is fivetran.as
.
Create access token
Log in to your Deputy account.
Open a new tab in your browser and go to the following URL:
https://<subdomain>.deputy.com/exec/devapp/oauth_clients
NOTE: In the URL, replace
<subdomain>
with the subdomain you found in Step 1.Click New OAuth Client.
Enter a Name for your OAuth client.
Enter your Redirect Uri. For example,
https://www.fivetran.com
.In the Save This OAuth Client drop-down menu, select Save and Next.
Click Get An Access Token.
Make a note of the access token. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
- Enter the Subdomain you found in Step 1.
- Enter the Access Token you created in Step 2.
- (Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Deputy data.
