Auth0 Setup Guide Lite

Follow our setup guide to connect Auth0 to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect Auth0 to Fivetran, you need an Auth0 account.

Log in to your Auth0 account.
On the navigation menu, go to Applications and click Applications.
Click Create Application.
Enter a name for your application.
Select Machine to Machine Applications application type and click Create.
Select a registered API to authorize your application.
NOTE: For more information, see Auth0's documentation to register APIs.
In the Permissions section, select the required permissions and click Authorize.
In the Settings tab, go to the Advanced Settings > Grant Types.
Select Client Credentials.
Go to the APIs tab and set the Authorize toggle, adjacent to your API to, ON.

Go to the Auth0 dashboard.
On the navigation menu, go to Applications > Applications.
Select the application you created in Step 1.
Go to the Settings tab and make a note of the Domain, Client ID, and Client Secret. You will need them to configure Fivetran.

In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Enter the Domain, Client ID, and Client Secret you found in Step 1.
Enter the API Audience you found in Step 2.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Auth0 data.
