Error: HTTP 429 Too Many Requests
Issue
While adding a new custom configuration table, the following error appears:
Sorry, we have encountered an unexpected issue: HTTP 429 Too Many Requests
Environment
Connector: Adobe Analytics
Resolution
To resolve this issue, see the options below.
Reduce your API usage
Check whether you have authenticated multiple Adobe Analytics connectors using credentials from the same organization or whether services other than Fivetran contribute to your organization's API usage. If so, reduce as needed or authenticate each connector or service with credentials from different Adobe organizations where possible.
Increase your API rate limit
Contact Adobe to request an increase in your organization's API rate limit.
Reduce the data we sync to your destination
- Pause your connector.
- In Fivetran, go to your Adobe Analytics connector page.
- In the top right, set the ENABLED toggle to OFF.
- Decrease the amount of data available to sync from your source or deselect unwanted tables from the Schema tab of your connector page in Fivetran.
- Resume your connector.
- In Fivetran, set the ENABLED toggle to ON.
Cause
The default rate limit for each Adobe Analytics organization is 120 requests per minute, with a maximum of 12 requests every 6 seconds. See Adobe Analytics' product description documentation for more information.
The above error appears when you reach your organization's rate limit. When this issue occurs, we reschedule the sync.
