Release Notes
November 2024
If a selected primary key contains a null value in your reports, we display a warning on the connector dashboard and insert the record with a null
value in your destination. If the destination does not support null values, we insert the row with the default value for the column instead.
October 2024
The Workday RaaS connector now supports the Hybrid Deployment model. For more information, see our setup instructions.
September 2024
You can now use a Fivetran-generated primary key for your Workday RaaS reports without a suitable primary (single or composite) key. We have added a new toggle, Use Fivetran Generated Primary Key, to the connector setup form. We generate a fivetran_id
primary key based on a hash of all the columns in the report.
June 2024
We now support OAuth authentication to connect to Workday RaaS.
We are gradually rolling out this change to all existing connectors.
January 2024
We have changed the sync strategy for our Workday RaaS connector. We now support incremental syncs for the reports whose URL contains dynamic query parameters. For more information, see our documentation.
July 2023
We have added support for two Workday report format types, JSON and CSV. We have added a new drop-down menu, Report Format, to the connector setup form. For more information, see our setup instructions and API config.
May 2023
We have renamed our Workday connector to Workday RaaS. This name change applies to the Fivetran dashboard and our documentation.
April 2023
We can now sync the nested columns in your source and sync them separately into your destination. We have added a new toggle, Enable Unpacking Nested Columns, to the connector setup form. You can set this toggle to ON to unpack and sync the nested columns. By default, we sync the nested columns as JSON objects. For more information, see our setup instructions.
November 2021
We now automatically postpone your syncs by six hours if they fail due to Workday's weekly maintenance activities. Workday performs maintenance weekly, monthly, and quarterly during a designated period, during which it is unavailable for use. After the maintenance period, your connector resumes the sync on the scheduled sync frequency.
