UKG Pro Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect UKG Pro to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect UKG Pro to Fivetran, you need a UKG Pro Web User with Web Services permissions or a UKG Pro Service Account.
Setup instructions
Find hostname
- Find the Hostname under the web service section and make a note of it. You will need it to configure Fivetran. For example, if your URL is
https://useast1.ukg.net/service
, then your Hostname isuseast1.ukg.net
.
Find customer API key
Log in to your UKG Pro account using your UKG Pro URL.
Depending on your UKG Pro account type, do one of the following:
- For a UKG Pro Web User Account: In the UKG Pro dashboard, navigate to System Configuration > Security > Web Services.
- For a UKG Pro Service Account: In the UKG Pro dashboard, navigate to System Configuration > Security > Service Account Administration.
NOTE: Make sure to set the UKG Pro Service Account permissions to
View
on the Service Account Administration page in your UKG Pro account.Make a note of the Customer API key. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
NOTE: The Customer API key will have 5 characters, for example
FVTRN
.
Finish Fivetran configuration
In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Enter your UKG Pro Username and Password.
Enter the Hostname you found in Step 1.
Enter the Customer API key you found in Step 2.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your UKG Pro data.
