The Movie Database Setup Guide Lite Private Preview

Follow our setup guide to connect The Movie Database to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect The Movie Database to Fivetran, you need a The Movie Database account with API access.

Log in to your The Movie Database account.
In the top right corner, click your profile icon and select Settings.
On the navigation menu, click API.
Select the type of API key you want to register: Developer or Professional.
Click Create.
Read the terms of use and click Accept.
In the API page, specify appropriate values for all the fields and then click Submit.
NOTE: All fields are mandatory. If you do not have a valid value for any field, you can enter a dummy value for that particular field.
Make a note of the API Read Access Token. You will need it to configure Fivetran.

In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Enter the API read access token you found.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your The Movie Database data.
