Salesforce Fields Are Missing or Grayed Out in the Schema Tab
You may find that it's not possible to select some fields from the Schema tab because they are grayed out or don't appear in the list. This may happen if you haven't provided us appropriate access to the fields you want to sync.
To grant the appropriate access and include the missing fields in your connection schema, do the following:
- Log in to Salesforce. You must have administrative privileges to set permissions.
- Provide the connecting user, and therefore Fivetran, access to the affected fields. See Salesforce's field permissions documentation for more information.
- In Fivetran, go to your Salesforce connection page.
- Select the Schema tab.
- Click the Refresh button (Update latest schema from source).
- Select the checkbox next to the fields you want to include in your sync.
- Click Save changes.
