Error: This App Is Blocked by Admin

Issue

While creating a new Salesforce connector, the following error appears:

this app is blocked by admin.

Environment

All Salesforce connectors

Resolution

To resolve this issue, do the following:

1. In Salesforce, click Setup.
2. Search for Connected Apps OAuth Usage.
3. Unblock the Fivetran Sandbox app.

Cause

Fivetran creates a Salesforce application called Fivetran Sandbox. This connected app requires users to allow access to their resources. The above error appears when a user has yet to agree to provide access to their resources.
