Issue

The connector fails with the following error:

java.net.UnknownHostException

Environment

Resolution

To resolve this issue, do the following:

1. Ensure the Client ID, Client Secret, Marketing Cloud Instance, and subdomain you provided during connector setup are correct. See our setup instructions for detailed steps.

2. Ensure your Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment is not utilizing legacy Stack-Specific Endpoints. Salesforce Marketing Cloud recommends using Tenant-Specific Endpoints instead to avoid errors and achieve higher performance. See Salesforce's guide to updating your marketing cloud endpoints for more information.
