Klarna Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect Klarna to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Klarna to Fivetran, you need a Klarna merchant account with API access.
Setup instructions
Find subdomain
The subdomain depends on the region in which you create your Klarna account. For example:
- If your Klarna Region is North America, then your subdomain is NA.
- If your Klarna Region is Europe, then your subdomain is EU.
- If your Klarna Region is Oceania, then your subdomain is OC.
Create API credentials
- Log in to your Klarna account.
- Go to Settings and click API credentials.
- On the API Credentials tab, click Generate new API credentials.
- Click Create credentials.
- Make a note of the Username and Password. You will need them to configure Fivetran.
Find CSV delimiter used in your settlement report
- Log in to the Klarna Merchant Portal.
- Go to Settlements > Settlement Reports.
- Click Configure reports.
- Select the Merchant ID and delivery Channel associated with the settlement report you want to sync.
- Make a note of the value in the Delimiter field. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connection setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
- Enter the Subdomain you found.
- Enter the Username and Password you created.
- In the CSV delimiter field, select the delimiter you found.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected for the connection. To assign a different agent, click Replace agent, select the agent you want to use, and click Use Agent.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Klarna data.
