Custom Report Table Is Missing in the Destination

Issue

The connector does not create the Custom Report tables in my destination.

Environment

Connector: Google Analytics 4

Resolution

Use Google Analytics 4 Query Explorer to verify that your chosen combination of dimensions and metrics does not return any data.

If the query explorer does not return data, adjust the included dimensions and metrics to find a configuration that returns your data and then create a new report in the Fivetran connector with the updated configuration.

Cause

You can only combine specific dimensions and metrics to create valid combinations. The connector setup form ensures that the combinations are valid.

Our connector creates a table in the destination if the configured dimensions and metrics for the report return your data from the Google Analytics 4 API. Fivetran does not sync empty tables and columns.
