Checkr Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect Checkr to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Checkr to Fivetran, you need:
- A Checkr account with API access.
- Live environment access if you want to sync the Live environment data.

Setup instructions
Create secret key
- Log in to your Checkr account.
- Go to Account Settings > Developer Settings.
- Click Create Key and select the key type depending on your environment:
- If you're using the Live environment, select Secret
- If you're using the Test environment, select Test Secret
- Make a note of the secret key. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Find webhook URL
Find the automatically-generated URL in the connector setup form and make a note of it. You will need it to register the webhook URL in Checkr.
Register webhook URL
- Log in to your Checkr account.
- Go to Account page and click New webhook.
- In the New webhook page, do the following:
- Enter the webhook URL that you found.
- Select the Live environment.
- Select a jurisdiction.
- Click Add.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connector setup form, enter your chosen Destination schema name.
- In the Subdomain drop-down, select the subdomain corresponding with your environment:
- If you're using the Live environment, select Production
- If you're using the Test environment, select Staging
- Enter the Secret key you created in Step 1.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Checkr data.
