Buildkite Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect Buildkite to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Buildkite to Fivetran, you need a Buildkite account.
Setup instructions
Create personal access token
Log in to your Buildkite account.
NOTE: It is highly recommended to use an account with read-only access to your organization.
In your Buildkite dashboard, click the Profile Icon in the top-right corner of your page and choose Personal Settings to navigate to your user settings.
In the left-hand navigation pane, click API Access Tokens.
Click New API Access Token.
Enter the Description and select available organizations.
Provide following access rights:
a. REST API Scopes
Read Agents
Read Teams
Read Artifacts
Read Builds
Read Job Environment Variables
Read Build Logs
Read Organizations
Read Pipelines
Read User
b. GraphQL APIEnable GraphQL API Access
Click Create New API Access Token.
Make a note of the token. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Enter the Personal API Token you created in Step 1.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Buildkite data.
