Yext Setup Guide Lite In Dev
Follow our setup guide to connect Yext to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Yext to Fivetran, you need a Yext developer account.
Setup instructions
Select your Subdomain
- If your region is US and you have a production account, then select your Subdomain as
Production-US
. - If your region is Europe and you have a production account, then select your Subdomain as
Production-Europe
. - If your region is US and you have a sandbox account, then select your Subdomain as
Sandbox-US
. - If your region is Europe and you have a sandbox account, then select your Subdomain as
Sandbox-Europe
. - If your region is neither US nor Europe and you have a production account, then select your Subdomain as
Production-default
. - If your region is neither US nor Europe and you have a sandbox account, then select your Subdomain as
Sandbox-default
.
Find API Key Credentials
Log in to your Yext account.
Navigate to your Developer Console by selecting Developer > Developer Console from the navigation bar.
In the Developer Console, click + Add an App in the top right corner.
Enter a name for your app, and click Create App.
Go to the API Credentials tab.
Add Account Settings ,Locations,Listings,and Reviews endpoints permission in the API Permissions field and click Save.
Make a note of the API key. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
Select the Subdomain from the dropdown.
Enter the API Key you found.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Yext data.
