Rakuten Advertising Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect Rakuten Advertising to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Rakuten Advertising to Fivetran, you need a Rakuten Advertising account with API access.
Setup instructions
Create report
- Log in to your Rakuten Advertising account.
- Go to Reports > Reporting.
- Click Build a new report.
TIP:> If you have an existing report, in the Choose Report drop-down menu, select your report.
- Click Add and Remove Columns and then select the columns you want to use in your report.
- Save the report.
Find report key and API token
- In your Rakuten Advertising account, open the report you created in Step 1.
- Click the drop-down menu next to the View report option and select Get API.
- Find your report key and API token in your Rakuten Advertising API URL. For example, the API URL has the following format:
//ran-reporting.rakutenmarketing.com/en/reports/[<REPORT-KEY>]/filters?date_range=this-month&include_summary=Y&tz=GMT&date_type=transaction&token=[<API-TOKEN>]
. - Make a note of report key and API token. You will need them to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
- In the connector setup form, enter the Destination schema name of your choice.
- In the Report keys field, enter the report key you found in Step 2.
NOTE: To sync multiple reports, enter the report keys as comma-separated values. For example,
sales-and-activity-report,offer-report,product-success-report
. - Enter the API token you found in Step 2.
- (Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
- Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Rakuten Advertising data.
