What Tables and Permissions Does Fivetran Recommend To Get Started?
Use Case
You want to set up a NetSuite connector with NetSuite.com as the data source but aren't sure which permissions to get started with. You're looking for a core set of Fivetran tables and the respective NetSuite permissions to begin syncing data.
Fivetran Recommendation
We recommend starting with the main tables used in our NetSuite data model. These are a great place to get started, and you can always add more tables later to meet your specific business needs.
Make sure you have the following NetSuite prerequisites:
A NetSuite SuiteAnalytics administrator account
A NetSuite administrative account
The SuiteAnalytics Connect Service enabled
A NetSuite login email
A NetSuite password
Follow our Netsuite SuiteAnalytics Setup Guide to set up your NetSuite SuiteAnalytics connector.
In the Set Table Permissions step of the setup guide, refer to the following table to add the permissions for each source table:
Table Subcategory Permission Name ACCOUNTS Lists Accounts ACCOUNTING_PERIODS Setup Manage Accounting Periods ACCOUNTING_BOOKS Transactions Make Journal Entry CONSOLIDATED_EXCHANGE_RATES Lists Currency CURRENCIES Lists Currency CUSTOMERS Lists Customers CLASSES Lists Classes DEPARTMENTS Lists Departments EXPENSE_ACCOUNTS Lists Accounts INCOME_ACCOUNTS Lists Accounts ITEMS Lists Items LOCATIONS Lists Locations PARTNERS Lists Partners TRANSACTION_LINES Setup Custom Column Fields TRANSACTIONS Transactions Find Transaction SUBSIDIARIES Lists Subsidiaries VENDORS Lists Vendors Complete the connector setup.
Enable the tables on the Schema tab of the connector details page.
Trigger the initial sync.
Once the sync has completed, make sure the data in the destination meets your requirements.
(Optional) Set table permissions after initial setup for additional tables.
