Warning: Cannot Select - These Tables Were Excluded Due to No Access to Assets

Issue

In the Schema tab, the ASSET_SCHEMA table and all associated child tables are unavailable (grayed out). While hovering over the table, the following message appears:

Cannot select - These tables were excluded due to no access to assets.

Environment

Connector: Jira

Resolution

To resolve this issue, do the following:

1. Ensure the authorizing user has a role in Assets that grants permission to view Assets data. For more information, see Jira's Configuring Assets roles and permissions guide.

2. Re-authorize the connection as a user with the appropriate role.

   i. In Fivetran, go to your Jira connection page.

   ii. Select the Setup tab.

   iii. Click Edit connection.

   iv. Click Re-Authorize Connection and allow Fivetran to access your data.

   v. Click Save & Test.

Cause

This issue occurs when the authorizing user lacks the permission required to view Assets, preventing us from syncing the relevant data.

By default, Jira administrators have full access to Assets. However, administrators may be restricted from viewing Assets if your organization has modified the default permissions.
