The _fivetran_deleted Column Shows Incorrect Values in the Destination

Issue

The _fivetran_deleted column shows incorrect values for records in the destination schema.

Environment

Connector: Jira

Resolution

To resolve this issue, either assign the Administer Jira global permission to the connecting user or register the webhook manually.

Cause

We use webhooks to capture deleted entities for the Jira connector. This issue occurs when the connecting user does not have the Administer Jira global permission, which is required to register webhooks.
