Long Term Quota Exceeded Error
Question
The Google Search Console connector fails with the following error:
Long term load quota exceeded
What does this error mean? What should I do?
Answer
Long-term quota is measured in 1-day chunks. If you exceed the quota when running only a single query within a 10-minute period, you are exceeding your long-term quota.
Learn more about quotas from Google's documentation.
Fivetran connectors have a retry mechanism built in. With the Google Search Console connector, when the quota is exceeded, Fivetran pauses the sync temporarily and then tries again to see if the quota is below the limit. After five retries, the connector fails the sync.
You don't have to do anything as new retries will happen during subsequent syncs.
