Issue

Connector setup tests fail. The following error appears:

Could not link Facebook to Fivetran.

Environment

Connector: Facebook Ads

Resolution

To resolve this issue, do the following:

1. Safelist all applicable Fivetran IP addresses.
2. Disable any content blockers, firewalls, or Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) you use.
3. Open a new private or incognito window and set up the connector.

Cause

This issue occurs when connection issues, content blockers, firewalls, or VPNs block us from loading all required elements and delivering the page content.
