Error: Unable to Validate Query

Issue

While setting up a Facebook Ads connector, the following error appears, even though the correct account permissions have been granted natively:

Unable to validate querying API for each account. No accounts found to query.

Resolution

This error can appear when a Business Manager is set up to require 2FA, though the user authorizing the connector does not have two-factor authentication enabled.

Fivetran also needs to approve pending account requests for the user account used to authorize the connector.

To resolve the issue, you will need to re-authorize the connectors within the setup forms, logging into Facebook with an account that has two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled.
