Do I Need To Create a Segment Targeting All Users?

Question

Fivetran exports Braze users using the users/export/segment endpoint available in Braze's API. Do I need to manually create a segment that targets all users or does Fivetran create this automatically in Braze?

Answer

Fivetran does not modify any data in Braze. We only fetch the users that are in a segment. Therefore, you must manually create the additional segments in Braze.

You must include each user in a segment so that all users are present in the users/export/segment endpoint.
