Why Am I Unable to Re-Authorize an Existing Connection?link

When I re-authorize an existing Salesforce connection, the following error occurs:
Authentication failure. Reconnect the connector with the latest credentials.

To resolve this error, do the following:
- Log out from your Salesforce account.
- Open the setup form in a private or incognito window of your browser and re-authorize the connection.
Causelink
If you try to re-authorize your connection while you are already logged in to your Salesforce account, Salesforce bypasses its login page and its API response informs us that you are already logged in. However, Salesforce does not provide us with any information about your login credentials.
