Salesforce Error: Reconnect the Connection With the Latest Credentials
You may encounter the following error while re-authorizing a Salesforce connection:
Authentication failure. Reconnect the connection with the latest credentials.
What causes the Reconnect the connection
error?
This issue occurs when you attempt to re-authorize your Salesforce connection while logged in to your Salesforce account. When this happens, Salesforce skips the login screen and confirms that you're signed in. However, it doesn't return the credentials we need to complete the authorization. As a result, the re-authorization process fails.
How to resolve the Reconnect the connection
error.
To resolve this error, do the following:
- Log out of your Salesforce account.
- Open a private or incognito window.
- In Fivetran, go to your Salesforce connection page.
- Select the Setup tab.
- Click Edit connection.
- Click Re-Authorize Connection.
