Error: Refresh Token Might Have Expired
Issue
Despite re-authenticating the connector, it repeatedly fails with the following error:
Refresh token might have expired, please re-authenticate the connector.
Environment
Connector: Linkedin Ad Analytics
Resolution
To resolve this issue, do the following:
- In LinkedIn, disconnect Fivetran from your account by removing the Fivetran application. See LinkedIn's third-party application data use documentation for more information.
- In Fivetran, go to your connector page.
- Select the Setup tab.
- Click Edit connection details.
- Click Re-Authorize Connection.
- Follow the steps in the pop-up to authorize LinkedIn to log in through OAuth. See our LinkedIn Ad Analytics setup instructions for more information.
If the error continues to appear, provide the authorizing user with the billing admin user role in LinkedIn, then re-authenticate the connector. See LinkedIn's user roles documentation for more information.
