Ivanti Setup Guide Lite
Follow our setup guide to connect ivanti to Fivetran.
Prerequisites
To connect Ivanti to Fivetran, you need an Ivanti account.
Setup instructions
Find Tenant URL
- Log in to your Ivanti instance.
- In the Configuration console, go to the Tenants workspace.
- Select the tenant.
- Make a note of the LoginURL (Tenant URL). The Tenant URL is the URL you use to access the Ivanti instance. For example,
https://xyz.api-example.com
. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Create REST API key group
In the Configuration console, go to the API Keys workspace (click Configure > Security Controls > API Keys).
Click Add Key Group.
In the new key group form, enter the Name and Description for the key group.
Click Save Key Group.
Create REST API key
Go to the API Keys workspace.
In the Key Groups section, select the REST API key group you created in Step 2.
Click Add API Key.
In the New API Key workspace, provide the following details:
- Reference ID
- Activated
- Description
- On Behalf Of
- In Role
(Optional) To restrict a user to one or more specific addresses, click Add new IP. Enter a valid IP address and click OK.
Click Save Key.
Make a note of API key. You will need it to configure Fivetran.
Finish Fivetran configuration
In the connector setup form, enter your Destination schema name.
Enter the Tenant URL you found in Step 1.
Enter the API Key you created in Step 3.
(Hybrid Deployment only) If your destination is configured for Hybrid Deployment, the Hybrid Deployment Agent associated with your destination is pre-selected in the Select an existing agent drop-down menu. To use a different agent, select the agent of your choice, and then select the same agent for your destination.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your Ivanti data.
