Freshdesk Setup Guide

Follow our setup guide to connect Freshdesk to Fivetran.

Prerequisites

To connect Freshdesk to Fivetran, you need a Freshdesk account with an active subscription and administrator privileges.

Setup instructions

Find subdomain

1. Log in to your Freshdesk account using your Freshdesk URL.

2. Make a note of your subdomain. You will need it to configure Fivetran.

   NOTE: For example, if your Freshdesk URL is https://mysubdomain.freshdesk.com, then the subdomain is mysubdomain.

Find API Key

1. In the top right corner, click your avatar image and select Profile settings from the dropdown.

2. On the My Profile Settings page, find and click View API Key.

3. Make note of your API key. You will need it to configure Fivetran.

Finish Fivetran configuration

1. Enter your chosen destination schema name in the connector setup form.
2. Enter the subdomain you found in Step 1.
3. Enter the API key you found in Step 2.
4. Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync data from your Freshdesk account.
