YouTube Analytics Setup Guide
Follow our setup guide to connect YouTube Analytics to Fivetran.
To connect YouTube Analytics to Fivetran, you need a Google or YouTube account with permissions to access YouTube channel you'd like to sync.
In the top right corner of your Fivetran Dashboard, click on + Connector.
Select the YouTube Analytics connector to launch the setup form.
Enter your chosen destination schema name.
Enter your chosen destination table name.
Click Authorize and log into your Google account.
Choose which report you'd like to sync. Fivetran supports two sets of reports:
- Channel Reports: Channel reports bring in data for specific YouTube channels.
- Content Owner Reports: Content owner reports bring in data for all channels that you are an owner of. Choose content owner reports if your organization hosts multiple YouTube channels that you're interested in analyzing.
Our dropdown menu in the setup form displays the report names according to how YouTube accepts API requests. For more information about the metrics that each report contains, click the report names above.
Click Save & Test. Fivetran will take it from here and sync your YouTube Analytics data.
