Google Analytics 4 is a reporting connector, similar to the older Google Analytics Universal Analytics connector. This connector is the best fit for most customers that are primarily looking for a connector that exports reports from Google Analytics 4 into their destinations. This is similar to replicating the data available in the Google Analytics 4 UI.
The main features of Google Analytics 4 connector are as follows:
- This is a reporting connector that does not support raw event exports
- Google samples queries that return over 10M events for standard GA4 properties
- Reports are limited to 8 dimensions (+ the

Google Analytics 4 Export
Google Analytics 4 Export is an event connector that exports the raw events from Google Analytics 4 using the native BigQuery Export functionality. Our connector reads the data from BigQuery and writes it to your destination. This connector is best for customers that would like to explore raw data from Google Analytics 4 and create their own metrics / workflows from that data.
