Why Are My Pending Orders Missing Data?

Why do some columns, such as order_total_amount, contain null values for orders in the Pending state?

Fivetran uses the Amazon Selling Partner API getOrderItems endpoint to sync order item data. However, this endpoint returns limited data for orders in the Pending state. Pricing, shipping, and tax data is unavailable until the order is confirmed.
As a result, some columns may contain null values in your destination until the order leaves the Pending state. For more information, see the Amazon GetOrderItems API documentation.
